EXTREMA 300/10 IX receives “Best of Heimwerker Praxis 2019” accolade

In its first issue of 2019, as it does every year, German product test magazine Heimwerker Praxis looked back and picked out the previous year’s best tools, machines and products. Our EXTREMA 300/10 IX took the “Best of Heimwerker Praxis 2019” title in the “Clear and dirty water pumps” category.

This extract from the January 2019 issue of Heimwerker Praxis gives the reasons for the test result:

EXTREMA 300/10 IX from T.I.P.

When it comes to pumps, T.I.P. are real professionals. That much is clear when you look at the Extrema 300/10 IX. The first thing you notice is the solid all-AISI 304 high-quality stainless steel construction of this T.I.P. pump. A delivery rate of 19,500 l/h and static head of 10.5 m put it among the top products in our comparison test. With a 1200-watt motor, it features the most powerful drive among the products tested. The T.I.P. model was also the only one suitable for pumping hot water.

In comparison with the other pumps of (almost) the same level, this model showed the least decline in delivery rate at a five metre static head. The reason may be the powerful drive and special cast “stainless steel Vortex free-flow impeller”. Apart from that, the pump was impressively smooth-running thanks to its self-lubricating precision ball bearings, and put in a very good performance overall.
