5. Social media
Sharing content via plugins (Facebook, Google+1, Twitter & Co.)
Content on our website can be shared, in a way that protects your data privacy, on social networks such as Facebook, Twitter or Google+. For this purpose this website uses the eRecht24 safe sharing tool. This tool establishes direct contact between social networks and users only when users actually click one of the social buttons.
This tool does not automatically transfer users’ data to the operators of these platforms. If a user has an account on one of the social networks, an information window in which the user can confirm text before sending appears when the social button for Facebook, Google+1, Twitter etc. is clicked.
Our users can share the content of this site in social networks in a way that protects their privacy, without allowing complete surfing profiles to be compiled by the network operators.
Facebook plugins (Like & Share buttons)
Our website includes plugins for the Facebook social network, which is provided by Facebook Inc., 1 Hacker Way, Menlo Park, California 94025, USA. These Facebook plugins can be recognised by the Facebook logo or the Like button on our site. An overview of Facebook plugins is available here: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/.
When you visit our site, a direct connection between your browser and the Facebook server is established via the plugin. This informs Facebook that you have visited our site from your IP address. If you click on the Facebook “Like button” while you are logged into your Facebook account, you can link the content of our site to your Facebook profile. This allows Facebook to associate visits to our site with your user account. Please note that, as the providers of this site, we not informed of the content of the data transmitted to Facebook or the purpose for which Facebook uses these data. For further information please see Facebook’s Privacy Policy at: https://dede.facebook.com/policy.php.
If you do not wish Facebook to be able to associate your visit to our site with your Facebook account, please log out of this account.
Twitter Plugin
Features of the Twitter service have been integrated into our website. These features are offered by Twitter Inc., 1355 Market Street,
Suite 900, San Francisco, CA 94103, USA. When you use Twitter and the “Retweet” feature, the websites you visit are associated with your Twitter account and are visible to other users. At the same time data will also be transferred to Twitter. Please be aware that, we, as site providers, have no knowledge of the content of the transferred data or how the data will be used by Twitter. For further information please see Twitter’s Privacy Policy at: https://twitter.com/privacy.
You can change your Twitter privacy preferences in the account settings at https://twitter.com/account/settings.
Google+ Plugin
Our website uses functions of Google+, which is provided by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.
Collection and dissemination of information: using the Google+ button, you can publish information worldwide. This button allows you and other users to receive personalised content from Google and our partners. Google records the fact that you have given content a “+1” as well as information about the page you were viewing when you clicked “+1”. Your “+1”s can, together with your profile name and photograph, be inserted into Google services such as search results or your own Google profile, or into websites or online advertisements.
Google records information on your “+1” activity in order to improve its services for you and others. To use the Google +1 button, you need a public Google profile that is visible worldwide and at least contains the name you have chosen for your profile. This name is used in all Google services. In some cases, this name can replace another name that you have used when sharing content via your Google account. The identity of your Google profile may be shown to users who know your email
address or possess other identifying information about you.
Use of the collected information: besides the purposes described above, information you provide is used in line with Google’s current privacy rules. Google may publish summary statistics on users’ “+1” activity or provide these to users or business partners such as publishers, advertisers or linked websites.
6. Analytics tools and advertising

This website uses features of the web analytics service Google Analytics, which is provided by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.

Google will use this information on behalf of the operator of this website to evaluate your use of this website, to compile reports on website activity, and to provide other services regarding website- and Internet usage to the website operator. The IP address transmitted by your browser through Google Analytics will not be combined with any other data held by Google.

Google AdWords and Google Conversion Tracking
This website uses Google AdWords, an online advertising programme provided by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, United States (“Google”).
Our use of Google AdWords includes “conversion tracking”. After you click on a Google-served advertisement, a cookie will be set for conversion tracking. Cookies are small text files that your web browser stores on a user’s computer. Google AdWords cookies expire after 30 days and do not identify users personally. If a user visits certain pages on this website before the cookie has expired, both Google and we will know that the user clicked on an advertisement and was redirected to our website.
Each Google AdWords customer receives a different cookie. These cookies are not traceable via AdWords customers’ websites. Conversion cookies are used to generate conversion statistics for AdWords advertisers who have opted for conversion tracking. AdWords customers learn the total number of people who clicked on their advertisements and were redirected to pages with conversion tracking tags. However, advertisers are not provided with information that would allow users to be personally identified. If you do not wish to be tracked, you can opt out of conversion tracking by simply deactivating the Google conversion tracking cookie in your Internet browser’s user settings. You will then be excluded from the conversion tracking statistics.
The storage of “conversion cookies” is based on Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR. The operator of this website has a legitimate interest in analysing user behaviour to optimise both its web service and its advertising.
For more information on Google AdWords and Google conversion tracking, please see Google’s data privacy rules: https://www.google.de/policies/privacy/.
You can set your browser to inform you when cookies are set and accept only specific cookies, reject certain cookies, reject all cookies, or delete cookies automatically when you close your browser. Deactivating cookies may limit the functionality of this website.
Facebook Pixel
Our website uses Facebook Pixel, a visitor behaviour tracking feature supplied by Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA (“Facebook”) to measure conversion.
This allows us to follow the actions of users after they are redirected to a provider’s website by clicking on a Facebook advertisement. This allows the effectiveness of Facebook advertisements to be evaluated for statistical and market research purposes and future advertising to be optimised.
The data collected are anonymous to us as the website operators. We cannot draw any conclusions concerning the users’ identities. However, these data are stored and processed by Facebook, making it possible to associate them with user profiles so that Facebook can use the data for its own advertising purposes, in line with Facebook data use guidelines. This enables Facebook to place advertisements on Facebook pages and outside Facebook. As website operators we have no control over the use made of the above data.
For further advice on how to protect your privacy, please see Facebook’s Data Policy: https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/.
You can also deactivate the “Custom Audiences” remarketing feature in the ad settings at https://www.facebook.com/ads/preferences/?entry_product=ad_settings_screen. You must have a Facebook account to do this.
If you do not have a Facebook account, you can deactivate usage-based Facebook advertising by visiting the European Interactive Digital Advertising Alliance website: http://www.youronlinechoices.com/de/praferenzmanagement/.
Analytics with WiredMinds
Our website uses tracking pixel technology from WiredMinds GmbH (www.wiredminds.de) to analyse visitor behaviour. To do this we collect, process and store data as necessary and use them to create user profiles with pseudonyms. Where possible and appropriate, these user profiles are completely anonymised. Cookies may be used for this purpose. Cookies are small text files that are stored on the user’s Internet browser and used to recognise this browser. The collected data, which may also contain personal data, are transferred to WiredMinds or collected directly by WiredMinds. WiredMinds may use information left by visitors on websites to create anonymised user profiles. Without the express consent of the data subject, data collected in this way are not used to identify visitors to the website personally, nor are they combined with the pseudonym-holder’s personal data. Whenever IP addresses are collected, they are anonymised immediately after collection by deleting the last block of numbers.
Opt-out link: Exclude from tracking.

Direct mail
The T.I.P. GmbH informs its customers at regular intervals by means of a newsletter about own offers of the enterprise, which are similar to products and services already used by the customers. The data subject shall have the right to object at any time to processing of personal data processed for the purpose of such advertising. If a data subject objects to T.I.P. GmbH to the processing for direct marketing purposes, T.I.P. GmbH will no longer process the personal data for these purposes. The contact details for exercising the objection can be found in the imprint. Alternatively, the link provided for this purpose in every advertising e-mail can also be used. In this case, the customer will not incur any costs other than the transmission costs according to the basic rates.

CleverReach is a service for organising and analysing the distribution of newsletters. The data you provide to receive our newsletter (e.g. your email address) will be stored on CleverReach servers in Germany or Ireland.
Sending our newsletters with CleverReach enables us to analyse newsletter recipients’ behaviour. Thus we can, for example, learn how many recipients have opened the email containing the newsletter and how often any link in the newsletter was clicked. With the help of conversion tracking, we can also analyse whether a predefined action (such as the purchase of a product on our website) takes place after a link in the newsletter is clicked. Further information on data analysis with CleverReach is available at: https://www.cleverreach.com/de/funktionen/reporting-und-tracking/.
Our basis for processing such data is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR). You may withdraw your consent at any time by unsubscribing from the newsletter. Withdrawal of your consent shall not affect the lawfulness of any data processing performed before the withdrawal.
If you do not wish your newsletter usage to be analysed by CleverReach, you will have to unsubscribe from the newsletter. For this purpose, we provide an “unsubscribe” link with every newsletter sent out. You can also unsubscribe from the newsletter via our website.
The data provided when registering for the newsletter will be stored until you cancel your subscription. Once you unsubscribe from the newsletter, said data will be deleted from our servers and from CleverReach’s servers. Data we have stored for other purposes (e.g. email addresses for the members’ area) shall remain unaffected.
