T.I.P. booster sets with 50 litre pressure vessel – HWW 1300/50 Plus TLS
The capacity of the pressure vessel plays a key role in the functioning and efficiency of a boster set. In comparison with the smaller types, a larger container allows a larger reserve of water. This significantly improves pressure compensation, so the pump cuts in less frequently while the booster set is running. This has the benefit of reducing electricity consumption and running noise, while the lower frequency of starts protects the appliance from wear.
Flow rate and static head:
45 m – 250 l/h
40 m – 750 l/h
30 m – 2,500 l/h
20 m – 3,100 l/h
10 m – 3,800 l/h
A pump’s flow rate is mainly dependent on its static head. The term “static head” refers to the height difference between the water surface and the water outlet. The above table gives the capacity of the HWW 1300/50 Plus TLS booster set at different static heads. At a static head of 20 metres, for example, the expected delivery rate for this pump is 3,100 litres per hour.
Maximum number of sprinklers:
Booster sets are ideal for running watering systems such as sprinklers. This model is suitable for connection to a maximum of 4 sprinklers. This number is based on the following standard values: Water flow at sprinkler: approx. 600 l/h. Water pressure at sprinkler: approx. 2 bar. Suction head: max. 5 m. The term “suction head” refers to the height difference between the water surface and the pump.
