A self-priming, smooth-running pump with a jet hydraulic system, thermal overload protection and a robust stainless steel pump housing. Features a large 22 litre pressure vessel with a European-made odour-free food-safe EPDM membrane. For transporting clear water under constant pressure. A high-performance model from this high-quality product range with a stainless steel pump housing and pressure vessel. For automatic domestic water supply with service water from wells and cisterns, garden watering and automatic sprinkling. Ideal for installation as a pressure booster in an existing water system.
Flow rate and static head:
42 m – 13 l/min – 0.8 m³/h
40 m – 23 l/min – 1.4 m³/h
30 m – 45 l/min – 2.7 m³/h
20 m – 58 l/min – 3.5 m³/h
10 m – 65 l/min – 3.9 m³/h
A pump’s flow rate is mainly dependent on its static head. The term “static head” refers to the height difference between the water surface and the water outlet. If, for example, water is pumped from a depth of 5 metres and sent 15 metres upwards, the static head comes to 20 metres. The above table gives the capacity of the HWA 4500 INOX Plus automatic domestic water system at different static heads. At a static head of 20 metres, for example, the expected delivery rate for this pump is 58 litres per minute or 3.5 cubic metres per hour.
Maximum number of sprinklers:
Booster sets are ideal for running watering systems such as sprinklers. This model is suitable for connection to a maximum of 5 sprinklers.
This number is based on the following standard values:
Water flow at sprinkler: approx. 600 l/h. Water pressure at sprinkler: approx. 2 bar. Suction head: max. 5 m. The term “suction head” refers to the height difference between the water surface and the pump.
