This high-powered AJ series model with 8 floating impellers is distinguished by its large static head. With the help of a built-in electronic control system, the pump cuts in automatically at approx. 3 bar. After the consumer is shut off, the pump cuts out when maximum pressure is reached. Simultaneously the flow control system protects the pump from damage due to dry running. The maintenance-free capacitor motor with thermal overload protection is water-cooled and suitable for non-stop operation. Sand-resistant to 50 g/m³ water. The small external diameter of only 9.8 cm allows use in narrow drilled wells as little as 10 cm in diameter. Suitable for pumping water from great depths and sending it on under high pressure.
Flow rate and static head:
45 m -36 l/min – 2.15 m³/h
40 m – 49 l/min – 2.95 m³/h
35 m – 59 l/min – 3.55 m³/h
30 m – 66 l/min – 3.95 m³/h
25 m – 69 l/min – 4.15 m³/h
20 m – 78 l/min – 4.65 m³/h
15 m – 83 l/min – 4.95 m³/h
10 m – 88 l/min – 5.30 m³/h
5 m – 94 l/min – 5.65 m³/h
A pump’s flow rate is mainly dependent on its static head. The term “static head” refers to the height difference between the water surface and the water outlet. The accompanying table gives the capacity of the AJ 4 Plus 100/57 AUT deep well pump at different static heads. At a static head of 20 metres, for example, the expected delivery rate for this pump is 78 litres per minute or 4.65 cubic metres per hour.
Maximum number of sprinklers:
Just like garden pumps, deep well pumps are ideal for running watering systems such as sprinklers. This model is suitable for connection to a maximum of 6 sprinklers. This number is based on the following standard values:
Water flow at sprinkler: approx. 600 l/h
Water pressure at sprinkler: approx. 2 bar
