T.I.P. Extrema Dirty water construction pumps – SaltOne 16000 I-PX DUO
The SaltOne 16000 I-PX DUO dirty and salt water construction pump is perfect for liquids with high salt content. The AISI 316 grade stainless steel allows liquids with a salt content up to 10% and detergent solution to be pumped out and transferred. In contrast to conventional submersible wastewater pumps, this pump is also suitable for pumping liquids with higher temperatures up to 50 °C in continuous operation, and even up to 90 °C for short periods (approx. 4 min). The cast VORTEX stainless steel impeller (AISI 316) prevents pump blockages efficiently by swirling debris around and breaking it down. An unique feature is the specially developed flat suction “DUO-Ring”, which modifies the pump from a dirty water pump
with particles up to 10 mm into a flat suction pump down to 2 mm with just one hand movement. It is also equipped with a lockable float switch for automatic and manual mode.
Static head/flow rate:
With DUO-Ring:
8 m – 5.600 l/h
6 m – 8.560 l/h
4 m – 10.900 l/h
2 m – 13.130 l/h
Without DUO-Ring:
8 m – 5.940 l/h
6 m – 9.100 l/h
4 m – 11.550 l/h
2 m – 13.950 l/h
A pump’s flow rate is mainly dependent on its static head. The above table gives the capacity of the SaltOne 16000 I-PX DUO submersible dirty water pump at different static heads. For example, if water is pumped from a depth of 2 metres, the expected delivery rate for this pump is 13.130 litres per hour.
