T.I.P. Maxima submersible dirty water pumps – Maxima 400 CX
The Maxima 400 CX submersible pump dirty water pump is a top-of-the-range, exceptionally high performance model, designed for construction use, from the high-quality, extra-robust Maxima series. The steel pump housing and motor shaft consist of stainless steel. Thermal overload protection and an automatic on/off switch protect the pump from damage due to overheating. It is equipped with a VORTEX impeller system to prevent pump blockages. The impeller consists of solid, hardwearing cast iron. This model is suitable for pumping clear or dirty water with dirt contaminant particle sizes up to 35 mm. Specially designed for extreme, all-purpose use: for draining garden ponds, construction- and dirty water trenches, swimming pools and cisterns, for sewerage, or for emergency drainage in the event of flooding.
Static head/flow rate:
8 m – 30 l/min – 1.8 m³/h
7 m – 80 l/min – 4.8 m³/h
6 m – 130 l/min – 7.8 m³/h
5 m – 180 l/min – 10.8 m³/h
4 m – 225 l/min – 13.5 m³/h
3 m – 260 l/min – 15.6 m³/h
2 m – 302 l/min – 18.1 m³/h
1 m – 345 l/min – 20.7 m³/h
A pump’s flow rate is mainly dependent on its static head. The above table gives the capacity of the Maxima 400 CX submersible dirty water pump at different static heads. For example, if water is pumped from a depth of 2 metres, the expected delivery rate for this pump is 302 litres per minute or 18.1 cubic metres per hour.
