Pre-filter

Pre-filter

Characteristics:
  • Protects the pump from sand, suspended particles etc. in the pumped liquid
  • Prolongs the service life of the pump
Pre-filters are highly recommended as an accessory for garden pumps, domestic waterworks and other surface pumps. They minimise wear, prolong the service life of the pump and are highly effective for filtering sand, suspended particles etc. out of the pumped liquid.

  • reduces the pump’s frequency of starts
For automatic water supply via pumps and pressure vessels – and via domestic waterworks in general – pressure compensation containers have a key role to play. The greater the size of the pressure vessel, the less frequently the pump cuts in. The larger the container, the more liquid it holds, hence the less often the pump cuts in.
