Now is the right time for kohlrabi, white radishes and lettuce. Plant these species in your greenhouse by the end of February, and you’ll be able to harvest vegetables from mid- to late April.

Make sure that seedlings have one or two layers of fleece for protection from the cold. The number of layers depends on the temperature and time of day. In warmer weather, usually one layer of fleece is enough during the day. If it still gets very cold at night, covering with the second layer is recommended.

After about three weeks the plants will need protection only at night. Weather permitting, thorough airing of your greenhouse during the day is recommended. Make sure that the thermometer in your greenhouse does not climb above 15 °C, even on sunny days.
