Keeping rustproof stainless steel rust-free
Every material needs the proper care and attention! The fact is that even stainless steel can go rusty. To keep it rust-free, be sure to do the following:
Clean it regularly by wet-wiping: wipe rustproof stainless steel with a damp cloth to pick up dirt particles. Then wipe dry.
Be sure to use connectors made of suitable materials: use only brass, stainless steel or plastic connectors.
Take care when doing DIY work: be aware that iron particles can leave rust stains on stainless steel. For this reason, rustproof stainless steel should always be covered up when in the vicinity of a workbench.
Protect stainless steel from salt and chloride-containing liquids.
