Why can I order replacement parts only but not appliances from your website?
T.I.P. sells to the trade only, supplying large garden centres and hardware stores rather than end-consumers. The agreements we have with these retailers preclude direct sales to end consumers. Replacement parts are excluded from these agreements, in order to allow retail customers to obtain necessary replacement parts conveniently, quickly and without undue effort. One exception to the above rule is that we offer for sale a changing selection of left-over and end-of-the range products. Another exception is our factory outlet, which offers extremely good deals on our products.
Where can I purchase T.I.P. products?
Generally you can purchase our products at all well-known hardware stores. Please note however that not every store change carries our entire product line-up. If you need a particular product but don’t know where to buy it, we’ll be happy to help you. Please send us an email stating the product you’re looking for and your address including postcode, so that we can send you details of a retailer in your area who has the product available.
Is there a T.I.P. factory outlet?
Yes, we do have an outlet selling replacement parts and special products at our factory in Waibstadt, Germany.

Our factory outlet is open to the public daily Monday to Friday from 08:30 to 12:30 and from 13:00 to 16:30 at T.I.P. Technische Industrie Produkte GmbH, Siemensstr. 17, 74915 Waibstadt, Germany.

Where can I have a T.I.P. appliance repaired?
Our pump service centre in Waibstadt, Germany deals with repairs. You can send a faulty product directly to T.I.P. (please pay the correct postage and enclose a copy of the proof of purchase if you have it). You’ll find detailed instructions in the section on Sending in appliances. Alternatively, you can contact the retailer from whom you purchased the appliance.
How do I get hold of replacement parts?
You can quickly find the replacement parts you need in our Replacement parts shop and order them directly from us. You can pay cash on delivery, via credit card or by PayPal. Alternatively, you can contact a retailer who carries our products. The retailer can order replacement parts for you.
Are replacement parts for older T.I.P. appliances also available?
T.I.P. guarantees availability of replacement parts for 10 years. This means that you can obtain replacement parts for all appliances without a problem for a period of 10 years from the date of purchase. Replacement parts are also available for many older appliances. However, please be aware that we cannot guarantee to supply spare replacement parts for appliances more than 10 years old.
For how long can I make claims under the guarantee?
Our appliances are manufactured and tested using the latest methods. The seller guarantees freedom from defects in materials and manufacturing in accordance with the legal provisions of the country in which an appliance was purchased. The guarantee begins on the date of purchase and is subject to the following conditions.
Within the guarantee period, all defects in materials or manufacturing shall be remedied free of charge. A defect should be reported as soon as it has been noticed.
Repair attempts by the purchaser or third parties will void the guarantee. Damage resulting from improper handling or operation of the appliance, incorrect set-up or storage, improper connection or installation, or force majeure or other external factors is not covered by this guarantee.
Wear parts such as impellers and mechanical seals are excluded from this guarantee.
All parts are manufactured with the greatest of care and the use of high-quality materials, and are designed for long service life. Wear is however dependent on the manner and intensity of use, and on maintenance intervals. Compliance with the installation and maintenance instructions in the instruction manual supplied is therefore crucial to ensure long service life for wear parts.
In the event of a defect claim, we reserve the right to repair or replace faulty parts or replace the appliance. Any parts that we have replaced shall become our property. Claims for damages are excluded unless they arise from an intentional act or gross negligence on the part of the manufacturer.
No other claims shall be allowed under this guarantee. The purchaser shall provide the purchase receipt as proof of any claim under this guarantee. This guarantee is applicable in the country in which the appliance was bought.

How do long do repairs etc. take?
We need up to ten working days to process repairs and replacement parts orders. We try to answer email enquiries within 48 hours (not counting weekends). More difficult or complicated or issues may take more time.
